Why are people are so shocked about Troy Davis? fucking wake up everyone. You all saw the Casey Anthony trial, this is AmeriKKKa. Realize that shit. I’m sick of everyone pretending like they care about these cases after they see the headlines on major news networks. Do your homework before shit hits the fan and you’ll understand how the American justice system works. The Casey Anthony case lasted for over 3 years, Troy Davis’ was over twenty years. Where the hell was everyone before the verdicts? And now everyone’s acting like they give a damn.

On a side note:

Despite it’s flaws, I actually do believe that we have one of the best legal systems in the world. But, unfortunately it’s become excessively influenced by socio-economic standards, mistakes, the lengthy appeals process, overcrowded prisons, racism, oh and of course those blood sucking lawyers.

Another note:

There’s no such thing as a perfect legal system, fairness doesn’t happen just because we all agree on the same fucking thing. Like, “omg everyone on facebook and tumblr is saying that it’s unfair, so it must be unfair.” Fair is a fucking opinion.

I’m not saying that Troy Davis was given anything close to a fair trial, I’m just saying we should come up with our own conclusions, rather than following someone else’s. Troy Davis’ trial was a tragedy, I don’t agree with his execution and he definitely was treated unjustly. But there are also millions of others who have been executed over the last twenty years while he was ALIVE, and yet we don’t know any of their names. Please take a step back and put things in perspective, everyone.
